Kate’s Plaice

I’m lucky enough to do a spot of photography for Kate Jenkins, the quite brilliant knitwear designer, and crochet artist.
I have to share a couple of pieces of her work here, not only because it adds a bit of Seasonal cheer to my site, but because it may just be the last chance to see her incredible exhibition, ‘Kate’s Plaice the Stitchmongers’. Drum roll please for Kate, as she returns from distant shores, to don her apron and trilby once again, serving up the visual feast that is an entire knitted and crocheted fish counter, in her home town of Brighton.
It’s not around for long though! Catch it (sorry, it’s hard to resist) on the 19th & 20th December at the best Art Gallery in town, The Cameron Contemporary Gallery www.cameroncontemporaryart.com. Opens Saturday 19th December 10.00-6.00, Sunday 20th December 11.00-4.00.
Whether you can make it or not, keep an eye on Kate’s amazing work here www.cardigan.ltd.uk
It’ll have you in stitches (yeah ok, I’ve gone too far with that one. Sorry).
