Golden Oldie Moment

Wouldn’t I just love to be a full time professional dog photographer!? They all have such individual personalities and quirks – as I’m all too often reminded with my own, but this is a shot I have to share.
Sweet little elderly Lottie having a quiet moment under textile artist Kate Jenkin’s knitting yesterday. Nice and soft amongst the wool and next to her mum – who can blame her for curling up there.
I was in the middle of photographing some of Kate’s brilliant new artwork when I saw this.. possibly the cutest dog photo opportunity of all time. Thanks for not moving till I had time to capture the moment Lottie. It’s never easy capturing ‘the’ shot with pets because as soon as you move they do too. This is a square crop of the original landscape image which I may just enter into the KC Dog Photography competition next Spring!
Don’t pets just bring such a heart warming ray of sunshine into our lives.. love them.
Keep up to date with Kate’s new work on her website. Be sure to check out her tinned ‘Pineapple Hunk’! www.katejenkinsstudio.co.uk
