Emma Wood is a photographer with an eye for eccentricity.
Since 2006 she has been a regular at the quirkiest events in Britain, covering over 70 contests to date, but it was several rotund 8-pound Double Gloucester cheeses and a steep hill that got the idea for this book rolling.
Along the way she has won the Ladies’ World Mountain Bike Bog Snorkelling Championship and been runner-up in the Ladies’ World Pea Shooting and Toe Wrestling Championships. She currently lives
in Brighton, where she's practising her stone skimming technique.
